Russia (EAEU): List of Products in Respect of which a Customs Declaration is Accompanied by RoHS Conformity Assessment Document

On October 16, 2018, the Eurasian Economic Commission enacted Decision No. 167

 

 

On this date the commission decided to approve a list of products in respect of which the customs declaration is accompanied by the conformity assessment document.Annexed to the Decision is a list of products in respect of which the submission of a customs declaration must be accompanied by a document attesting conformity assessment with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union “On restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment” (EAEU TR 037/2016).

 

The list includes, inter alia, the following products:

  • electrical appliances and appliances for household use,

  • appliances for washing, ironing, drying, cleaning of linen, clothes and shoes (washing machines, tumble dryers, irons, etc),

  • appliances used for cleaning the premises (vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, electrical brushes, etc),

  • appliances to maintain and adjust indoor climate (fans, air conditioners, humidifiers, electric heaters, etc),

  • appliances for sanitary purposes (water heaters, showers, toilets, etc), 

  • electric appliances for hair, nail and skin care,

  • gaming, sports and fitness equipment,

  • audio and video equipment,

  • sewing and knitting machines,

  • power supplies, chargers,

  • appliances for gardening (lawn mowers, trimmers, etc),

  • electric pumps,

  • electronic computer systems,

  • telecommunication equipment,

  • copiers and other electrical office equipment,

  • electric tools (drills, saws, scissors, etc),

  • lighting equipment (electric lamps, general purpose lamps, etc),

  • musical instruments,

  • gaming and vending machines, etc.

     

    Decision No. 167 entered into force on 18 November 2018.
